ARKO International Exchange is a key initiative under the Arts Council Korea, dedicated to fostering cultural collaboration and artistic growth on a global scale. Established as part of the council’s commitment to promoting the arts, ARKO International Exchange plays a pivotal role in connecting artists, cultural institutions, and audiences across borders. Our mission is to facilitate international partnerships that enhance artistic exchange, support innovative projects, and create opportunities for young artists to engage with the global arts community.

With a vision set towards 2030, ARKO International Exchange is involved in various initiatives, including the International Artist-in-Residence program and the International Arts Exchange. We strive to support arts creation through the International Partnership in Support of Arts Creation (ISAC) and actively participate in prestigious events like the Venice Biennale Korean Pavilion. By collaborating with overseas cultural institutions, we aim to expand the reach of Korean arts and culture, ensuring a vibrant exchange of ideas and creativity.
